Could Carzola be on his way out of Arsenal?

Words coming out of Spain this morning is that Santi Carzola could be going to Athletico Madrid. There are strong indications that a deal is very close. What a loss that would be if Arsenal were to lose one of their best players.. If the deal goes through, it will no doubt hold back the progress of the team regardless of whoever the club signs as a replacement. There aren't many players of his type/quality and
the ones available don't come cheap or better put, are not within Arsenal buying power.

How the Gunners keep losing the services of its best players every season is a mystery and one can only hope that this latest news doesn't come to fruition. This is transfer period and all sorts of rumours make the rounds and hopefully (for Gunners), this is just one of them.
